Bluetooth problem

Post by CycleSi » Mon Dec 12, 2016 8:59 pm

Used my phone as normal earlier today without any problem and now there are two issues:

1) It won't automatically connect up when I turn on Bluetooth - I have to manually connect it up.
2) When it is connected I can hear the person I've called, but they cannot hear me. Also, I can see a small icon showing a line through a speaker as if it is on 'mute'.

I don't know if there is a fault or I have accidentally changing a setting on my phone (iPhone 5S) or need to change a setting on the head unit. I'm sure it is something small but I can't get it to work properly.

What have I done?

You can delete the BT settings via the RNS-E and pair the phone again - I would try that first. I did this recently as it was prioritising my gfs phone over mine (as paired hers after mine) but it does seem to have improved connection and overall speed (probably as only one phone paired now). You will have to put your VM number in again so have that handy.

Thank you.

It now appears to have sorted itself out.
