Audi Sport Driving Experience

Post by Wakky » Wed Apr 13, 2016 1:49 am

Has anyone done this? Got an email from my dealer offering this at a very discounted price after buying the RS6 from them. Seems like a good deal but curious if anyone has done it and could share their thoughts?

Yeah, it's OK. Wouldn't pay for it though.

Yes, i did it last year at the discounted price also. Definitely worth it, even though it was very wet on the day. Full day on the smaller Stowe circuit at Silverstone driving RS3, RS5 and R8 V10+ (previous generation when I did it). You pair up with someone on the day and take turns doing all sorts of different driving techniques. Brilliant fun and a great day out. Love my RS6 but the R8s are a different league. This course is the prerequisite to the next course which is driving the R8s on the F1 circuit :D

Is it still a prerequisite to the bigger Audi events though?

I did the ADE a few years ago & was told that having done it i could book onto (I'm sure it was) the Experience at Nordschleife & some Ice Driving one. That said they were very expensive & given i'd paid nothing for the Silverstone ADE i didn't see the value in signing up for any of the 'bigger' events.

Not sure, it's all been updated, but you're right that was the case.

If I was paying I'd be paying PEC. It's a far better day out.
