Low Rev Vibration

Post by mikeyw » Mon Feb 15, 2016 12:21 am

I wondered if anyone else has noticed a low rev vibration in the cabin. At tick over (so just a little under 1000 rpm) there is a distinct vibration around the dash board. Having taken out everything I can think might be loose in the glove box and centre console, it persists. It you touch the throttle to up the revs to just over 1000, it stops. Mine is a B8.....I'm guessing a trip to the dealership will be in order.?

2015MY with 20K on the clock and zero rattles or vibrations at idle or at any speed. I did get a little resonance in the steering column cowl at about 70mph, took off the top and bottom cowl and put a small strip of Dynamat on each ( 1cm x 5cm) and all is good. The just changed the natural frequency of the part.

Same as Geoff.
Solid, no noises, rattles or burps to speak of
Take it to the stealers, accept it back when the noise has gone
