Vibrating on Full Lock

I recently purchased an avant with SS+ and I have noticed that on full lock I get a vibrating sound which sort of shakes the car.

It happens on full lock left or right. Is this a characteristic of the car? Or something untoward that needs looking into?

I think this is a feature of the Quattro system - had it on both my cars and was warned to expect it before I bought the first. Seems strange but nothing to worry about (unless someone with much more knowledge shoots me down!)
