Steam coming from front grill

Post by Zeebuilder » Fri Nov 27, 2015 8:04 pm

Recently I have noticed steam coming from front near side grill in bumper when I've stopped. Always in wet weather and I expect residule water from wet roads being fried off on Rads but wondered if anyone else noticed the same?

Happens ALOT on my works van, nothing to worry about.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

I get this with my B7. Used to happen mainly when sitting in traffic in the rain. Now happens more often with the aftermarket oil cooler in its higher mounted position.

I also get this on a Rainy day on my b7, doesn't happen on a dry day and only when really hammering it.
