ICE/DIS settings after turning off ignition

Is there any way to get the ICE/DIS to remember its settings when you turn the ignition off?

I set everything up before a journey yesterday, stopped somewhere on the way, then when I started the car again the ICE/DIS screens all went back to their original settings. The radio also came on with the ignition even though it was definitely off when I got out.

The car is a 2012 RS3.

The car is a 2012 RS3.

A 2012 RS3 will have an RNS-E sat nav, and there's no way to make that remember which screen you were on - it will just return to the top level screen for the last function e.g. the route entry screen in NAV, etc.
