Then you remove the carbon cover by the throttle body. then the bracket that holds the carbon cover on. Two ten mill bolts..
Next remove your cover on the right. This is to remove your expansion tank.. (not fully.) Remove the top left little return pipe. ( if you have have any pressure in the system make sure you have removed this first by removing the expansion tank lid.) Put the little pipe as high up in the air as you can. Then the water level switch on the bottom of the expansion tank.
Push the tank over to your right with a towel covering your wing if you do it this way you wont lose any coolant.
You also need to remove your throttle body intake pipe.. This has two pipes going to it also ensure you unclipped the bottom one correctly..
then remove the intake pipe.
Remove then the two pipes from your rocker covers (id put some tissue in the holes just in case) the plastic ones that go to your pcv valve and remove the ten mill bolt by the throttle body. and disconnect the pipes from the pcv.
Also there is a little valve thingy on a rubber mounting disconnect that and move it out of the way. This is under the RS4 carbon cover.
Then you should then be able to see two round gold topped vacuum type thingys,,
Disconnect the pipe that connects these two items together. other wise you got no hope.. I did the one on the right first then the left one. Once they are disconnected you will be able to move the pipes up out of the way of the pcv.
Then you can see there is a chance you might get your hands down the back..
Top Tip then get some cloth or something and thread it around the back of the engine this way if you drop any thing you can get it back.
I then got a six mill spanner and put a t-30 torx head in the spanner only a cheap one from a screwdriver set as this was so much easier than anything else.. ( the spanner is bent from a previous RS2 issue... ( picture below.)
Then you can get to the 3 torx bolts holding the pcv to the engine. you should see they why you need to remove the black pipes from the gold bits,
Once you have undone the 3 bolts the valve should slide of do not pull away as you need to remove a pipe from the bottom of it i used a screw driver to unclip the clamp one twist and it should pop open.. This clip should then go in the bin and replace it with a little jubilee clip. when you replace with the new pcv.
Then you just pretty much put it all back together as it came apart,,
Sorry about my poor Punctuation paragraphs n waffle and such but i just done it so people are not afraid of doing this diy,,
My revving all over the place when coming to a stop has now stopped.

The old valve was tight sliding up and down and the other little hole had the o ring trapped holding it open every so often.
