Rain/light sensor adjustment with VCDS.

I am having a problem with my rain sensor for automatic wipers on my C6 RS6. They start off ok but with 30 seconds or so they become wildly over sensitive and can go to the fastest setting with only the smallest amount of rain. I found this link;

I do not have and do not have the no how to mess around with VCDS, so was wondering if there may be a charitable forum member in the South East that may be able to have a tinker with the settings as mentioned in the above link? I live in Oxfordshire.

Audi said they have looked at it and there's nothing wrong, but there def is. Any help would be much appreciated as its really starting to do my head in!
