Gearbox Fault....

So 2000 miles now on the clock and have 'Gearbox Malfunction' Currently parked up.... glad i cancelled my DMS map! Hope its all ok. :cry:

Wow, maybe gearbox malfunctions on happen on RS6es with odd number chassis types... C5, C7 - it's not looking good for the C9...

Were there any symptoms prior to the "Gearbox malfunction" message coming up? Maybe you've reached the limit of the number of launch controlled starts you're allowed :wink:

I am now at around the 2500 mile mark and posted that I had a concern that the gearbox was becoming harsh and a bit jumpy/lurchy when trying to drive it in a 30/40 limit. Had it checked out on Tuesday including a test drive (I insisted on supervising this) and the verdict was that the gearbox was ok . They also checked that all car systems were running the latest software revisions; all of them were.
