In need of help, wheels!

Post by Bjornbuse » Sat Jan 11, 2014 10:54 am

Hi guys.
Ordered the rs6, with prod date week 12. I ordered it with the orig. 20 and thought they were the deep concave version, the nicest wheel fnr this car in my opinion. Still not sure about this, there also is a flat version, that is not so nice.
What would you guys do
1 wait n see what you will get
2 upgrade to 21" for 2000 € total (but what shall i have for winter)
3 get some other wheel please link with pics.
4 buy the concave for 1300€ each...

I'd keep the standard wheels for winter etc then buy something for everyday use with the 2k you would be using to upgrade

1.
EDIT:
Actually I would personally get the black 21" because that is what I have gone for on my car!

Bjorn I think you were right - as I said in another post you will probably get the concave design wheels, the flat ones are probably winter wheels.

These look amazing I think but it's personal preference I guess and at 21 may comprise the ride a bit

The ride is ok, even with DRC. The dynamic mode was surprisingly compliant, far more so than C6 in sport!

Agreed. I'm still waiting for my car but my test drive last year was with a car with the 21" wheels + basic dynamic pack and on bumpy roads (where I live). It wasn't quite as smooth as my M5 on the comfort setting but not far off at all.

20s with DRC is the spec to go for.

I'm glad to see from them pics can run 'ramics with 20s. I wasn't sure

Alrigtht to sum things up.

By the very Audi expert in my country the car is to be delivered with the deep/dished Wheels. Reliefed!!!!!! :beerchug:
Thus something must be wrong in the configurator!
Thanks all for support! Especially DragonRR

Great news Bjorn :)

The dished wheels look miles better than the flat ones!
