If the house is that old isn't it about time they bought a newer one?

And why does the article keep saying 'the Audi car'? Shouldn't it be 'the Audi' or 'the car'?
And almost every time they mention the car they have to mention it is an Audi. surely you only need t omention once that it is an Audi, then from that point onwards just refer to it as 'the car'? I bet if it was a Lada they wouldn't mention Lada every tiem they mentioned the car. Odd.

He hasnt aged well at all.

What i dont understand is if this has happend a few times why didnt they have a wall built to protect the house, and to comment that the driver gets to go home to his warm house - im sure he is sitting in his warm house thinking just the same

Looks like it is a left hooker. Check out the number plate. He was probably the one on the wrong side of the road. ;)

Hate it that they keep saying 174mph car!!

Would the story have made such a big headline if it was just a normal A4? I doubt it. Just typical scaremongering journalism trying to make out that performance cars are bad! Shame on them for doing so. That is very poor reporting.
Current car: 2007 BMW 530d touring.

Brilliant.

‘We have to find somewhere to stay now and that’s hard with three dogs. The driver gets to go home to his nice warm house and we don’t.’

'Mr Rattray described the dangerous stretch of road as 'crazy' with several motorists killed in crashes since he moved in to the house 14 years ago'

he stayed their 14 years so must like it.

I imagine the house probably hit the market fairly cheap due to the previous owners getting annoyed with people ending up in their garden.
It's a poor reality, but unfortunately, if you buy a house on a dangerous stretch of road, then you're going to end up either witnessing the worst of it, or having it happen in your living room

A old work colleague of mine lived on a cross roads where cars seems to regularly end up on his drive/front garden due to poor (Slippery) road surface. He petitioned the council time and time again to resurface the junction with High grip asphalt, but in the end he built an 12" thick concrete wall around the edge of his property for cars to bounce off instead
