Part Number Guide

Post by TonyHayers » Sun Mar 17, 2013 11:43 pm

I've been maintaining a list of part numbers for a while now and realised that it might be useful to have a sticky page with some common part numbers on it. So here's what I've got so far. Pls add a comment with any additions/corrections (or if something isn't that useful I can remove it:) I'll then edit this original post to reflect the corrections and hopefully it will be useful for those of us who don't have access to EKTA (or those who do and get their minds blown by it's complexity!).

There are many versions of the RNS-E that might have been fitted over the production run of the RS4, see http://audiforum.us/threads/audi-a4-s4- ... bers.6851/ for a more complete list.

Pretty good idea and good start of a useful list. Just one suggestion would it be worth putting prices with each one. May not be 100% correct at all times but useful as a rough guide. :thumb:

Yeah, I did think about that and agree it might be useful - but with prices fluctuating quite a lot it might be an effort to maintain :boohoo:

I don't think anyone would expevt the prices to be continously updated but would be useful as ballpark figures.

no probs - although the door blades aren't interior bits really as are the lower bit of the door so an exterior part. maybe a bodywork / exterior trim parts section is needed ? not meaning to sound pedantic !

oh also could add

8T0051435F - iPhone 4 / 4S cradle - fits in armrest with phone prep..

For those whose auto opennign boots are a bit slow or limp get some new gas struts:
8E5 827 552 K

If i recall correctly it was about £60 for a pair but my boot now fires open again!

Also, black optic grille:
8E0 853 651 AF VMZ

Strip below bumper on a saloon; requires painting to body colour for black optic conversions; allows you to paint then fit rather than remove exisiting silver one to paint:
8E5 807 443 GGRY

Also, the part numbers I have for black optic window trims are different to yours but I havent used mine in anger yet so may be wrong. Also, isn't there dirrent part numbers for the Avant? I assume you have given numbers for the saloon?

And lastly for retrofitting the centre armrest I also have a part listed as: N 964 862 04. I think this is a little screw or fixing to fit it on cars that previously didn't have one (less than a £1).

I was copying most of the above from someone's handwriting so I have interpretted as best I can.

Thanks Mike - made additions and clarified re. black optics for saloon. Yeah, I can see the window trim numbers are different to yours. Have you ordered them yet?
