Aye aye Footlong...you appear to be stock piling random spare parts...not a criticism ...merely an observation.Mr Footlong wrote:I have a brand new stubby VAG antenna sitting on my fridge that I could part with. Like Dunc I use the mid stubby antenna.

Re: ANTENA
No offence taken. I have various bits hanging around that I have no use for and I need to be getting myself on the property ladder ASAP so I will be selling everything that isn't bolted down! Except for the car, I don't see that ever being sold.

Re: ANTENA
think mine still has the originally fitted aerial with the spiral wire on it, surprised i'm not contacting nasa with it! it has perished all around the base, and im not to keen on most of what i've seen im going to take it into work and make up a prototype replacement (will have no internals but is only the prototype)
now the question is polished or brushed, ally or stainless or just rubber coat it?

nah ive been looking and reckon reckon brushed stainless would match the wingmirrors and not clash with the silver paint work, will get a few made up tomorrow and post some pics during/after.
