Anyone used Pristine wheels Milton Keynes (well, Woburn) lately? I'm looking for a price guide on a plain set of 18s.

Badly kerbed a wheel last year, was due to buy new tyres anyway, so I had a single wheel done by them (using the spare) before putting my four new tyres on. I paid what I thought was an acceptable price for a single wheel via TT Shop considering they arranged and couriered etc whilst I was in for some other work - incl tracking check after my kerb interface! Finish is great. Now I'm rolling on winters I want to get the remaining four summers refurbed. Wondered what people have paid for a set lately all in (vat tyres balanced etc)

In situations like this I prefer face-to-face than over the phone, did this with the wheel specialist in Fareham, loaded my five winters into dads Sportback and politely asked for a deal doing both his and mine at once paid together, dad was an existing customer, they sorted us out. I don't mind paying for them to be done properly (winters where 80 a corner iirc) but I want to head over to Woburn with some figures in mind and a target price

must of been the surcharge.

When i call for quotes i just say i got some 20" wheels that need doing, that way they cant add there bit on.

i called these guys and they sounded ok and not too far from me. - http://www.mintalloys.co.uk/

will get them done end of Feb.
