Porsche 911 (996), convertible, 86k, FSH (may p/x)

PORSCHE 911 (996) CABRIOLET, 6 SPEED MANUAL, LAPIS BLUE, 86k, FSH, IMMACULATE (£10,995)

I am selling my 911 as I want another B6 (or maybe B7) S4 or possibly another interesting Audi....

Porsche 911 in what has to be the best colour for the 996 - I limited my search to black and lapis blue (manual), and found this after searching high and low for a low miler with no RMS issues and FSH.

911 cabriolet, 6 speed manual, with matching hardtop. The 996 to have in my opinion. The soft-top roof was properly treated by me just before the hardtop went on for the winter, with professional conditioner and sealant. The soft top is in amazing condition as the car appears to have been dry stored for much of it's life.

The body work is in immaculate condition, no rust at all and just a couple of stonechips on the front end which are hardly noticeable. I have also just treated and sealed the paintwork and wheels with Diamond Brite professional treatment. The wheels are original Porsche Turbo style and immaculate with no kerbing.

The engine is running perfectly, it has just had a gearbox and oil change service (October 2012), and it is using absolutely no oil at all; so no RMS issues, which generally will show up well before this mileage if they are going to happen at all. I had a full geometry set up at the same time as the service in October 2012.

Full leather interior, interior again is pretty much immaculate, and recently treated and conditioned, there is a little cracking of the leather on the driver's seat as it has the optional soft, ruffled leather, but overall it is excellent with the carpets, doorcards etc all good.

The mileage is genuine, backed up by a fully stamped history and documentation as well as a full, clear HPI check and MOT history.

The drilled brakes discs and pads are all good with plenty left, and the calipers (in black) literally look like they have just come out of the factory (thanks to it's pampered, dry life). It has good Continental tyres all round. Clutch all good, no slipping, gears all select perfectly and smoothly.

It also comes with a 6 CD changer and original Porsche stereo, all electric windows. Fully electric roof (opens and closes at the touch of a button in around 18 seconds).

It drives like a 911 should, very fast and handles amazingly. Pulls all the way through the rev range like it should, mechanically perfect. A proper example with none of the expensive issues some have.

Rads are all OK, I have vacuumed any leaves out when it gets washed and it has had a new rad in the past, detailed in the paperwork.

2 sets of keys, registered to me at my home, all genuine, a fantastic 911. 4 previous owners.
