Wanted- 19's for a B6 S4 open to ideas on style

Post by mne666 » Sun Nov 18, 2012 6:36 pm

As the title says really, looking to change my standard 18's for 19's.

One of my favorite wheels is the BBS CH but I'm open to ideas depending on what people have for sale.

Any pics of your r8 reps, how much are the moto's? I saw the pics on the forum but didn't see a price.

They work quite well, make the car look more modern somehow.

Was the offset 35 on those?

et33 i think mate . I loved them, the gent who bought the car of me didn't and changed them pretty quick i think. Think it would have looked even better if i had lowered it.

What alloys have you currently got?

I want to get rid of the 19s on the C5 I've just bought to replace them with the original spec 8.5j 18s.

Mine look like replica 7 arm twin spoke jobs - like the ones that came out in '06 on the B7 RS4 maybe. They just don't have the properly finished look of the OEM ones, if you know what I mean.

Hope to upload photos of car soon, bit frustrating at mo that I can't but I guess you already know what style I'm talking about.

I have a rough idea what you mean , not sure what finish you are decribing though

Send me a pic to pa34@hotmail.co.uk if you can

Mine are the standard 18 Avus wheels at the moment

Closest thing i could find online is this but mine have smaller centrecaps which leave studs exposed. Fitted with 255/35s P-Zeros on front, Dunlop Maxx on rear, too wide, tramlining, harsh.

What width and offset are the Avus 18s?

Might be RS4 19s indeed but thinking they'd look slightly different where arms meet rim if they were. Here's some photos (finally) of them. Spotted one kerbing mark on front left wheel but nothing else to speak of on others. After saying that though, will double check them and post more photos.

That's just dust on the wheels, they're in good condition with lacquer/powder-coating still looking good.
