Sorry guys, due to a poor show on my part and the worry of the formula of bikes + Ring, I decided this trip wasn't worth the risk. The last time I was at the Ring I was one of the first on the scene of a serious biker off. The experience was not a pleasant one and do be aware that most bikers get more damage from being run over by a car than the initial fall off the bike.

Again, sorry but this trip just isn't for me. Have a great time guys.

Same as Phil, the dates were becoming a struggle with other commitments & the WSB being on at the same time clinched it as i'd bet money you'll have a much higher than average number of bikers on the Nordschleife between WSB practice sessions & qualifying & this in turn will likely lead to an above average number of accidents & closures.

I've switched my crossing & hotel to later in September as am now booked to do a Nordschleife closed session trackday on the 27th (will do a few TF sighting laps the evening of the 26th too).

Have fun & stay safe. Will defo be going over again at least once next year & will try to combine it with Spa:)

Not even started yet. Car service on Friday. Docs and other bits to be taken. Going to try and set up the Go-pro cam as well. Iv downloaded an iphone app for lap times (just in case we get a empty track). Also need to fit in 4 track wheels, a trolley jack and the car crash out kit.

BTW I have another mate who,s coming now, his driving down from Manchester towing his bike. So that's 5 of us staying at the Ringhuas now. Will have to get a taxi over the Revolution party in Ardenau
