Which dealerships?

Riz
pm me if you need the info.

One very large well known dealer insisted he could get me a car by July/August. Said he would refund deposit if car didn't arrive by that time. :)

As a final note, it is fair to say, that RS cars in general were limited production runs. Companys such as Audi are very good at telling the world how few cars will be produced to keep the interest up. TT as stated was to be limited run, there flippin millons of the things on the road, B5 was limited to 5000 units, but I am sure that in the current climate of the car industry, every order will be forfilled and a few spares as well. Audi cant be seen to be flooding the market as prices will drop like a stone.

Same trick with Porsche at the mo. When ordering they state at least a 6 month wait if not longer and then hey, your car is ready in 3 months max.

Business is tough, and Audi will not miss a sale if it can be had.

Before I looked at getting the RS4, I toyed with the idea of a 997 C4S. Obviously didn't want to wait 6 months, so did a bit of ringing around. I found 3 main dealers that had physical cars to sell, all in a spec commensurate to my requirements.

Funnily enough, one of the dealers still keeps ringing me to try and sell me one.

It doesn't really look that good for any new cars at the moment does it?

I almost bought a Bentley Conti GT about a year ago. Retail was about 125k, I now see similar (used) one's for sale at around 80k. 45k depreciation for 18 months motoring is a bitter pill to swallow.
