Re: 28th March - Le Mans Track Day (official thread)
We both got them from an accessory shop in Southend but it has now ceased trading due to the death of the owner.
I am sure Demon Tweeks or someone similar would oblige - however it would be better to find a local distributer so that you can "try before you buy"
Try here http://www.rallynuts.com/motorsport/pro ... at=&id=422
Sorry bit pricier at £135 but do a search for somewhere cheaper

Realised this mate and made the booking so I edited my original post to reflect this.
Have we had confirmation that the accommodation has been booked by Eric?

Has Eric PM'd you with the hotel details and asking you to confirm yours? If not then PM him your full name for the booking, mobile number, nights you intend staying (sat+sun) and wether you want a single or twin.

Yes, exchanged emails and advised Eric of my details so I expect all is OK - just wondered about confirmation that's all.

Eric
Can you add me to the list, both the track and the lodging.
Jon
Is this the final bow out before you come to sell her Jon?
I would have thought helmets are compulsory. Eric might be able to find out if they can be hired at the track but I would personally invest in your own. You can buy very good helmets for between £50 and £100 (new) which will not stink of sweat and fit you correctly.
I'm thinking of buying a cheap open face as I'm currently using my motorbike helmet which is a little too restrictive in the car.
Its the final fling - I'm sure she will hold together - even with £140k on the clock

Re: 28th March - Le Mans Track Day (official thread)
Only a few more weeks now, really looking forward to it.
Eric, What is the etiquette for French track days/ AP events? Is is similar to UK run events or is it like the RS challenge where you see a gap and fill it?

Hi Steve,
Sorry not to be making this trip, I'll be on my way back from the Maldives - bummer!!! - would love to see some pic's and video if possible - car sounds awesome.
Good luck and don't bend it.
