You doing any other mods to go with them?
Yes, AET did them, got the Millie race dp's to go on as well, should be good for 600hp+ with a good map :boots:

The guys doing the install initially, probably get a full dyno map when time allows

Do they have enlarged intakes? If so, how wide?

Not sure on exact dimensions but my man reckons they're a LOT bigger than OEM, they're chamfered to allow more flow for the K06 compressor

I hope you get to that figure, but I'll be very surprised if you do.

The spec of the hybrids means that they'll flow 35lb per minute; with a very approximate conversion ratio of 10:1 for air flow to bhp that's 350 bhp (a similar K04/06 hybrid on the 1.8T engine makes a solid 330bhp). So, bearing in mind that there's two compressors filling the cylinders that's a potential of 700 bhp. Obviously, there's a lot more science to it than that when factoring in flow through manifolds, ic's, exhausts etc. etc. but with keeping back pressure to a minimum through the race dp's and decatted system plus Waggies adding to the flow rate then 600 should be do-able........don't reckon my slushbox is going to be appreciative though.....

So you're going to get some custom intakes made up? IIRC you've already got Comp Lower Gaskets, ne?
The MTM spec was apparently good for 568HP with sports CATs, CLG and hybrids. It'll be that extra 30HP that's the hardest to get, I'm very sceptical of anyone but Mihnea mapping C5s anything past a stage 1.

I'd love to know how different the HP/lbs ft curves would look with modded K06, K16, K24 and TTRS comp wheels. I really wanted to put the TTRS comps in but bottled it at the last moment. It'd never been done and I somehow got worried about lag. I don't think I should've worried. Apparently the hotside held everything back.

Mihnea will be having the final say in what this set-up will make but ATM we'll have to suck it and see. No cats are so much better than sports cats :bigblink:
The TTRS comp wheels would be great for top end boost but not what I'm after; K06 compressors give a much smoother torque curve, a lot more road biased which is the way to go with an RS6 IMO, we all know they're no track toy

Agreed, Milltek cats are SO much better than the restrictive OEM & keep you nice & legal but if you want to release the full potential of any turbo'd motor then keeping back pressure to an absolute minimum is the way forward ie. NO cats, not even silencers if you can stand it (Bam)
As an experiment in total irrelavence and if you're bored with time on you're hands sometime etc then get down to MRC or closest four wheel dyno & get a power run with cats removed.....you'll be impressed

What is the main differences/advantages off these over loba 650s?

Not a great deal really other than AET are relatively local to me (as opposed to Germany anyway) and they've got a good rep

Price due to less marketing. All the same sort of tech is but Loba will tell you their tolerances are tighter, their computer design is better and to be fair, they do produce some very pretty graphs.

Problem is, without the stars and moons aligning and every conceivable mod supporting the Loba snails, they won't make claimed power, ask Panda.

That was a major factor in my not going down the Loba route; as far as price is concerned I could have sent my originals straight over to Loba in Germany and got them re-manufactured to "650" spec for about the same money (the Loba units are actually less but overall approx the same amount when factoring in courier costs etc.) but I reckon they're being a little optimistic with the power figures. It takes a big leap of faith to get from the 510bhp or so that I'd got originally up to the 650 claimed by Loba just by swapping the turbos; AET were a lot more realistic in their claims that with the other mods 600bhp is certainly attainable & tbh I reckon that if mine was pushing 510 with WELL worn K04's and with standard pre-catted dp's etc. another 90 bhp should be relatively simple to find with the much better flowing hybrids plus race dp's and a decent dyno map. Just a case of "you pays your money, you takes your chance"
