I think what Nige S4 is linking to is what Big Mo was talking about.....

87K apparently.

Is Silver a bad colour to have on an Audi?
I'd have thought that the FASH and recent cambelt/pads/discs would be worth a fair bit, as by my reckoning, there's about £1000 worth of work that the "new" owner wouldn't have to look at during their ownership (brakes excluded! ;) )

Silver is the best colour for an S4! It's also the fastest colour too! ;)

That sounds like a good buy.

I don't think Silver is a bad colour to have an S4 in it's just quite....what's the word I'm after..... common. :D

Silver rocks - best colour for the S4 by a country mile IMHO. It certainly looks faster in the car park.

Tempting :D

Remember that the cambelt change done by an Audi dealer excludes aux belt and water pump. There have been reports of both failing earlier than you might expect.

Don't be fooled. Most of that <beep> is standard. Such a joke when the ad puts in power steering as a feature. Every new car (maybe expect the really cheap and small ones) for the last few years has had power steering!

The BOSE and leather were options. The luggage cover was extra too :)

Silver is the only colour worth having except maybe nogaro blue 'cos that was a special. As we all know, all owners of S4s in other colours are really embarrased and say things like "silver is common" whilst really wishing their car was silver.

Very good price/car, its very similar spec to my red saloon which I just sold a few weeks ago (I wont tell you what I’m driving now , I’ll only embarrass myself  all I say is its got a blue propeller on the front bonnet, sorry!)

anyway nice car , make sure the manifolds are not rattling an heat shields are in place around both downpipes (not easy to see, ask for documentation)

Nice one Dippy & Mc-BigE :)
What sort of price would I be looking at for replacing the aux belt & water pump? Big money? Just trying to get a few more bargain chips!! :D

I get what you're saying about the equipment specs - remember, I'm used to a Scooby - the steering wheel was an optional extra!! :D

What sort of money would the BOSE/leather/cover add to the cost of the car? Again, just trying to get some bargaining chips ;)

Dano :D
