Agreed John,
Most of the cars still for sale have a minimal options list & are nearly 18 Months old !!

Are you enjoying your RS4 , ?
Yes, love the thing! It's one of those cars that always makes me smile when I hit the start button and hear the bark of the exhaust. I'm now driving less than 200 miles a week with few business miles so nearly all of the driving is pleasure rather than pain. Have had to have it detailed, which was an unexpected development as the paint defects acquired in Audi's press fleet hands were beyond my meagre capabilities to fix. Had an Autowatch Ghost fitted and most recently the EBC pads, the only item left on the list is the exhaust active valve controller - was supposed to happen last week and it fell through - hopefully that will be back in the diary shortly.

There is always (sadly) a massive hit, minimally the VAT content and usually all the option costs. It is noticeable that some dealers are trying to imagine a time when VAT and option costs slashed to zero value are not an issue - there are RS4s for sale now that were on the market when I was looking back in October '18.
Not always but probably 99.9 % a year after the Macan came out there where used (year old) cars going for just over list due to the 18 month lead times. Then there is the super car market but that is a completely different league.
I remember seriously considering a Macan and yes the crazy lead-times too. I had a couple of SQ5s instead...

Just sold an SQ5 Diesel & was looking at the Macan GTS possibly a 17 plate wish, but keep coming back to the RS4's , they are just stunning .

I have had 3 V8's so well used to them, had a Demo B9 for the weekend & didn't want to take it back.!!!!

Yup can understand that - both my SQ5's were diesels too. The RS4 is a remarkable vehicle for sure.

It is up on Audi.de site so i was hoping the UK site would have it on theres this month
Is it a UK market issue or a worldwide issue.

I assume it’s all this emissions bollocks?
I understood, as the RS4 was launched after Sept 17 it had to be WLPT compliant from the start? The RS4/5 are back in production now, looked at the RS5 Sportback in my local dealer yesterday and it would have taken a while to get down here. If they are available to order in mainland Europe, why not UK? :?

It's seems ad though a few of us b9 owners have come from an sq5.
The rs4 is a great car, I thought that the sq5 was an amazing car that could do it all, but the rs4 can give you some big grins on the road when you want it to

Been having a little look around the various Audi country sites to see where the RS4 is avaiable currently

UK = No mention of the RS4 at all, even in the browse models
Ireland = RS4 information available browsing under Models but not available for configuration
Netherlands = RS4 available for configuration - had a play about with Google Translate and there are a number of new packs available and some new alloy options. Even seems to be an option to turn it into a 2 seater??

That exists in Belgium too. Taxes are lower, especially as you register it as a company car.
Then the difference is huge.

Called in at my Local UK Audi dealership today, no staff very well & got them digging in to when the RS4 will be next available to order,
They all seem to think it will be 6 Months away yet & no cars will come through until 2020 !!

Hope this is not true as this is very disappointing ,,Any updates off anyone else on info ?

I was told that when I collected my car in May 2018. I didn't believe it at the time but it's interesting to hear it again.
