Ok, someone posted a YouTube video of a gold RS4 Cabriolet with a Carbon set on a while back. I've been in touch with the company and they have finally responded. They are asking €1100 for a Carbon rear diffuser as in the video. Sadly the € deal isn't so good as it would have been but I am tempted. I think I may do a Christmas markets run and visit the company in person to see if there's a deal to be done, especially as they do a natty Carbon rear boot spoiler lip.

I will keep you all posted and if the forum rear diffuer comes of age in the meantime I can review my plans..

There is a company in the UK already producing the carbon rear diffuser. Ill see if can find them again on Instagram. Alternatively you could just CF overlay the standard one.

Ah! If anyone can find that UK Company please let me know as I failed. There are plenty of options in terms of rear diffusers for the B8 I can find online but not a B7. The German company are cagey and I think sense that their part could get copied here. I may go look at it out there as I quite like the boot lip spoiler too.

As for flashing leg, would you recommend that as a tactic Bam Bam?.....

I was thinking of posting a few pictures you could be rude about (as I quite like you boys playing) but some sort of spam filter has prevented me from posting pictures on the site anymore..

Possibly Argon? I know they were looking into it, but don't think they ever got anywhere with it.

Good luck getting a response from them. You'll pay an arm and a leg too if it is them.

Ill see if i can dig it out as i was looking at them for mine but then decided against it in favour of doing a CF overlay of the original.

Apologies for the radio silence.
@Rw@@dy - still working on the prototype
@FaisalJ - no, no toy cars! :P

Truth be told, designing/manufacturing car parts is a very expensive business (running into 10's of thousands, per part), so the majority of my time recently has been focused on generating the funds to plough into the new projects.

FWIW, given the time/money/effort already invested in this, I fully intend to complete this project - usual constraints/considerations apply:

Hey that's cool - the @ function works on this forum now!

No worries Nick - I'm in no immediate rush, and you let us know from the outset this could take a while. I'm prepared to wait for a quality product.

If anyone is will sell it trade me 1 of there spare rear RS4 bumpers we can do this. (Not trying to steal your thunder Nick)

2 versions as well.

1) as above which would be a replacement and involves cutting part of your original.

2) as an overlay

Carbon fiber or FRP(black or primer).

If you've seen my build thread you'll understand myself and my team are very capable.

The molds would take about a week to produce.
