What a lovely mothers day gift. truly a thing of beauty and aggression. I am very envious.

Did you go for any of the addional dealer insurance stuff? Who is doing your detailing and are you going for film protection?
Hi Mr Badger,

Hahah - thanks, it does kind of whisper 'move over' when you pull up behind people on the motorway ;)

The dealer didn't offer me any additional dealer insurance stuff. I ended up going with Admiral Multicar (so that my 18+ years NCB was mirrored across both cars) and then taking out a GAP insurance for 3 years with shortfall.co.uk. My car is currently being detailed by Gordon at Defined Details and he's going to be applying a ceramic paint protection coating... should get the car back tomorrow night in a highly shiny state! It was difficult handing the car over after only having it to drive the 450 miles home on Saturday :D I'm desperate to get it back and play with it!

Don't worry, the wait is worth it! :thumb:

Dr Gav

Patience is one of many virtues I don't have but the desire will make it sweeter when it arrives. I am on Admiral multicar at the moment. Will have a look at the GAP market-the Audi guy at Stirling thought their GAP may be limited to £25k which he advised would not work a couple of years in.

I look forward to hearing how the detailing goes. I absolutely know what you mean about handing the car over to someone else.

Enjoy :beerchug:

Well peeps Evil is finally in the house.

This is before they had the chance to polish it so you cannot quite see the Panther Black in the picture.

and the final touch. For those people who like a private reg that goes with the car.

hur hur hur (strokes white cat)

I have to say the entire buying experience through carwow and Tetbury Audi has given me a renewed view on the car trade. Apparently some of them are human and willing to work for a living.

Compared to the MB E63 AMG (5.5L V8 BiTurbo)
Quieter - cabin, roadroar, engine, background, exhaust (not so good)
Feels like it will be quicker, I am respecting the light load during first 500-100 rule

Alcantara (cross stitch not PE default) and plain carbon. May not make it "true PE" but I like the pattern more.
You cannot order the Blue Carbon if you change the seat covers off the PE Blue stitch alcantara apparently.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I think those are the first set of black PE wheels I've seen. They look nice. Real nice. Congrats.

It looks suitably menacing. Congratulations and enjoy frightening old ladies and young children. Would be great to see a picture of your interior ( the car that is ).

Nice car and nice plate. Great choice of colours, if I do say so myself.

Well, back from Gordon at Defined Details up here in Glasgow and the car is looking superb :jump: :biggrin3:

Unfortunately there is a very noticeable set of scratches on the rear windscreen that obviously happened in transit so I'll need to get in touch with Audi tomorrow to see how they will rectify this :FIREdevil:
