Pretty crappy lap actually compared to others I did, nursing a fuel pick-up issue and a lack of grip from the cold weather. But it was the clearest lap I ever did in terms of traffic and thus the fastest. Though I will say I never went as fast as this through the bottom of the foxhole again.

I'm reaaaal eager to give the B7 a go on the NS, it's just too far away from here at the moment. The Volvo was quicker in a straight line but I think I can make up enough time in the corners for an 8:00 in very low traffic.

What Volvo was it? I'm thinking 1995 puts it in 850R type era?

That is a serious lap with serious commitment. ESPECIALLY at foxhole... Well played.

What tyres did you have do you remember? There's an awesome amount of grip and stability there.

I'm back in a week as I say, but I fear no sub nines in my brand new car!

That is very cool! Faster than my standard rs6 on the straights and you're a shed load quicker than me through the corners!

Loved it :) I could fall asleep to the sound track too! Proper relaxing.

Cheers lads. I actually really miss that car. Should never have parted it out. But the shell and engine went to a mate who's been rebuilding is for years now to enter in actual races in Germany.
I think it was on R888s back then - but only 215 wide due to constraints. It got a welded cage in it later which made it easier to record video with an actual camera instead of a potato, but made it impossible to keep on plates and too much of a hassle. https://youtu.be/xtKe2NaIrSI
