Just got a call from dealer - I have a build slot!

However, this is for the original order. Option is take the preface lift version in jan or cancel and re-order - but still no idea when this will be as audi UK / factory are playing silly buggers by all accounts.

I'm going to cancel and wait that bit longer... As much as I would love to say feck it, I need a family wagon and this ticks more boxes than others out there.

If you cancel you will go back into the pile. Do not expect to get preferential treatment. Audi UK could not give any less of a <beep>.

yep - not expecting a car prior to Mar/Apr to be honest.... but after this long, what are the options - don't fancy 2nd hand and RS4 is a touch too small / RS7 touch to big and by the time one is ordered its the same wait time now. Only saving grace is the hope that once the order book is re-opened I try to get in first... (not counting on it tho)

This waiting faff has messed with my head so much I've found myself possibly ordering a Toyota hilux on Monday wtf be good for winter tho and here in 6 weeks brand new. WTF have I done hey ho at least I can expect it soon and not when ill be too old to remember what a RS6 is hahah.

Please just go and buy a dealer car and stop all this! Half the options are nonsense. If mine had one seat, no paint and just the sports exhaust I'd be happy!

Hahahah. Seriously guys if u were in the same position as me doodle bug g Davison and the rest I'm sure you would have had enough by now aswell trust me on that one. Nothing wrong with a hilux hahaha not flash but a great workhorse and even better in snow winter etc, not the best but will do.

There are no Sepang dealer cars in UK available .. and I don't want a 8 "shade of grey" or red car

doodlebug : Ordered Early March - build was scheduled w/c 8th Sept, now cancelled. Utter fiasco and Audi UK should be ashamed of their customer service.
glm: Ordered 31st March - no build date - claimed due due to ceramics shortage (also an exclusive paint order). dealer Says due next update 15th Sept - perhaps expected Order jan 15
jezitalia : Ordered April/ Confirmed all end May - build week 38 confirmed 10/9 - Delivery scheduled end Oct **
Chesterfield : ordered End June - build was scheduled w/c 8th Sept - Status Unknown now week 37 (1st week September)
DavidBamford : Ordered Mid July - no build date
gdavison : Ordered End July - No Build date - Dealer update - More info will be released by Audi UK next week


Just had a call from my Dealer. Audi UK have said there will issue an update next week (which stacks with what others have been told) .. as we both worked to cut through the waffle that Audi UK had provided him, the take away was .. Order book will be opened for face lift "soon", it will cost more, no idea on bundle differences / colours. (Dealer says the RS6 C7 bundle changes which Doodlebug pointed out where extensive where mainly driven by it was not selling).. so I am leaving it till next week and shall make a decision then
