LOL, boxers do smell and slobber and whilst frequent washing will deal with the former, the slobber is fundamental to their character. The barking is a deterrent as would arguably be the smell from the faeces although I do tend to deal with the latter rather sharpishly so the smell doesnt linger. We dont have carpeted floors and to be honest, as a trade off if it meant Stevie Swag Bag gets his step on past my property and elsewhere because he can hear my 2 barking at the pack of monster munch i`m not sharing with them, its trade off i`m willing to make but god damn do they molt... :drink:

I'm looking at another system that is completely stealthy - just a combination of button presses on the car's own switches / stalks that you have to input if the drivers door opens or the engine cuts out 2 mins later.
It's just a small, discrete 2 button pad measuring probably 10mm x 5mm. It can go anywhere really. If you are worried I would recommend it as a good solution, the only thing I would say is ensure you use a decent, established installer. Maybe contact Clifford.

No good if you get car-jacked, but i do like the sound of the Clifford system though.

It also works on hijacking. System arms upon door opening, silently. You just hand your keys over, thief drives off, 30 secs later alarms blare, he has 30 secs to input code and if he doesn't the ignition cycles down and then shuts off the car. Theif is fucked. The reason I had it was it seems to be the perfect system for all scenarios.

So if you open the door the immobiliser kicks in? Or is it when the doors are unlocked?

The system kicks in on door opening and closing, it effectively goes back to its initial state where u have 30 secs to put the code in.

Can you disable the anti-hijack thing if sending the car for a service? 90% of the time my car is locked away, so no real need for it, but on occasion it might be parked at a hotel or city somewhere where the code thingi would help me sleep sounder.
