STOLEN 21/12/12
Re: STOLEN 21/12/12
The fact that the two rear seat passengers ran off and left their seriously injured friends/ relatives at the scene points to them knowing that they were in a stolen car. Why else would they run off when they were not driving and not responsible for the accident?

Re: STOLEN 21/12/12
Maybe they had a criminal record and didn't want police attention? - as ADS says this doesn't necessarily mean they had anything to do with the theft of the car nor that those that died did - you and I are making assumptions that yes, would not be admissable in court. However as intelligent and reasonable human beings who have lived in the shadow of aggravated car theft while owning an RS4, having digested the information brought before us by the media, we are entitled to come to the conclusion that those that died were, whether directly or indirectly, related to the theft of the vehicle and likewise, ADS is entitled to remind us of the politically correct, emotionally bereft viewpoint (which as he says himself is at odds with his personal view).nial335 wrote:The fact that the two rear seat passengers ran off and left their seriously injured friends/ relatives at the scene points to them knowing that they were in a stolen car. Very sorry to read about this happening again.I have said it before, this is the only reason I wouldn't have another RS4.
Has anyone on here totted up how many members have had theirs stolen? There are going to be few legit cars left, or do they go abroad/broken?

Did you have yours nicked too pre R8?lofty wrote:Very sorry to read about this happening again.I have said it before, this is the only reason I wouldn't have another RS4[...]
Re: STOLEN 21/12/12
No, mine was a Cab anyway and I don't think they get nicked at the same rate as the saloon, probably why the insurance is much cheaper for a cab than a saloon/avant.I never felt nervous about owning the R8 or my present Mazza.I guess the B7 RS4 has become a victim of its own success.stu wrote:Did you have yours nicked too pre R8?lofty wrote:Very sorry to read about this happening again.I have said it before, this is the only reason I wouldn't have another RS4[...]
Re: STOLEN 21/12/12
You would only steal an R8 to order and for export, very rare
RS 4 is for domestic criminal activity

Hi All
I specialise in buying Stolen Recovered RS4's and selling them on with savings. On this occasion I'm sad to hear what happened. As it happens I just bought this very car in question.
The car is with me now and in almost mint condition, looks like it had been parked up for a while until the police recovered it.When I took possession of the car last week, there was only fingerprint powder marks from forensics and no details on what happened.
One of the reason why stolen RS4's don't get found is because the tracker is ripped out.
They seemed to have found it in a location which I'm not happy to reveal on the forum. Hence why the police did not locate it.

Rule 1.
No matter where you go, there you are.
