So you happy then Steve? ;)

Looking good. Looks like you should get the to adjust the bumper a little, the gap looks a little wide.

Are you going to get the mirrors to match the wheels for the full Titanium look?
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

That looks the absolute business. I'm hoping to be completing on a Daytona Avant middle of next week, and the nerves/excitement is building! Avus is a superb colour and really suits the optics.

Happy is understatement, why didn't I get one of these sooner :bash:

Will look at the bumper thing, not sure what your referring to at the moment though  ....additonal info welcomed :D

Yep, getting the mirrors done, was hoping to get that done before I picked it up, but couldn't get them to do it in the deal and they wanted silly price to do it. So if anybody knows a decent bodyshop (or even another dealers that can be recommended for this) to do this somewhere down south much appreciated.

Yep, off down to see the Outlaws in Sherborne Dorset, so quick blast down the A303 and round some twisties down that way 8)

Looks great, Steve
What do you think of your wheels? I have been thinking of changing from the standard silver wheels to titan.

IMHO they are what make the car for me; but each to their own I guess (BTW they are not Factory Titan, they were down aftermarket by previous owner) and with the rest of the Black Optics, the Black Exhaust tips, Privacy Glass, it all seems to tie in nicely in one package.

I also do think it depends on the car colour, the finish looks great IMO on Avus, Daytona, Silver, Black... not so sure on Mugello/ SB/ Missano. Again TBH I wasnt to keen on Black Optics on Missano/ SB once I actually saw it in the flesh, just my observations.

Hence, I had a change of heart from SB, Black, Missano and decided to go with 'Project Stealth'

Two thumbs up!

I really don't understand why what seems like the great majority of avants were specced without the optics pack. It marries so well on this car. It's actually very frustrating

Steve re the bumper thing what I think Sonny was referring to is the bonnet shut-line along the top of the grill. Looks a bit like either the bonnet isn't shut properly or the front bumper assembly has dropped a tad.

I looked for quite a while to find one with the looks I was after, must say the brushed allu trim on saloons in some colours does win over black pack, but I think a lot is personal taste.

Re the bumper, thanks I will take look, see what you mean now.

Yep, will have to arrange a meet soon
