Surprised you do you not have issues with sticky door locks / releases?

Drivers' door used to be like that, changed the lock solved it and it's been good since.


A heating system as proposed would be very useful indeed, I looked into it but never happened. At this point it probably doesn't have too many more winters ahead of it in my ownership.

Can you get car batteries more cold resistant than oem ones?

yup - some have little electric heating elements inside them that are powered by the battery to help keep the charge.

I would imagine there are others that use dfifferent electrolytes with better cold performance to stop it freezing.
I noticed on "Ice road truckers" they never turn the engines off
