just reading the posts about the mintex pads,in past experience they dont perform as good as genuine.im running rs6 brakes on my b5 and have just bought a set of pagid for the front for circa 47 quid plus vat but im in the trade and obviously get better discount and they are excellent oe quality.

Hmmmm....
Looks a good deal and at that price worth getting a set in for when I need them.
BTW. Its always a good idea to order a fitting kit at the same time as the pads as the pins have a tendency to get seized into the caliper and you may wreck them getting them out which is a pita if You have to try to get a set locally.
Make sure You use some copperslip on the pins when replacing them and I always coat the backs of the pads (don't get any on the friction surfaces) with a little to help reduce squealing.

Got mine today. Looks like I have more time than I thought as further inspection and it looks like I have a good couple of MM before the pins hit the discs. Will prob change them anyway and get the calipers all cleaned of gunk so they can move freely.

I bought the fitting kits from Audi for the fronts. New pins and retainers. Cost as much as the pads
