If you do get banned, I'll give you a grand for the motor! :biggrin2:

But in all seriousness, I hope you don't, your insurance is bad enough as it is!

Going to Brighton on Saturday I saw the Sneaky Fcukers on a closed M40 Jct7 north bound slip road onto the M40 in a full battle dress cruiser parked at an angle with a speed camera out of the driver’s window. The passing cars had no way to see the Plod speed trap. I see no point whatsoever trapping people on their Saturday morning drive going to wherever they are going to with their family after working hard all week only to be caught speeding for no reason and no danger to anyone else.

You do realise its the law don't you? Kinda like saying you shouldn't be caught stealing cause you've been workin hard all week 😁.
It's a tough one when you're the only one on the road and think, ah sod it let's give it the beans. Law is the law, can't moan if you get caught breaking it though.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

The law, when it comes to speed limits, is massively out of date though. Especially on motorways. No government has the balls to raise the limit to 80 or 85, even though they know they should. The same as legalising cannabis but that's a whole other can of worms...

It may be out of date, BUT IT'S THE LAW.
My wages are out of date compared to footballers, can I go rob their houses?

Agreed. How many million have the government just spent upgrading the M3 from te M25 to past Farnborough? Four lanes, smart motorway, about to fully open around now I believe. For a while I gather the government were threatening to leave a blanket 60 mph speed limit on it. WTF. Thankfully they decided against!

130 kph (80 mph) works perfectly in France on rural motorways when dry. Why not implement this over here on motorways like M3, M20, M45 etc etc. Not even my mum drives at 70 mph on the motorway when its quiet and empty!!

Might be 4 lanes, but no c-unit uses them properly!! Might as well be 2 lanes. I agree the speed limit could be raised, but it isn't. No point grumbling about getting caught when breaking the law, that's all my point is.

It was my wedding anniversary with my wife Lisa (she's a girl by the way, after 8pm)

Stating the law is the law is naïve. The government manipulate control and use the populous by imposing laws. Speed matters ! :drink:
