Well said. All it does is load up the torque converter. I've experience a 'launch' in a C7 RS6 using the opening posters process, and if Im honest I was a little underwhelmed, for a car that has such brutal in gear acceleration with over 500 lb ft, the car could launch so much harder if Audi let it!

Yes, that occasion, plus the car I drove at Millbrook from standing start 0-155 mph.

Maybe it didn't feel as devastating as it should due to the squishy human being prodding the buttons!

As above, we are all in agreement the car *would* get off the line if the revvs could be held higher / the torque converter could be loaded further. Nowt the driver can do about that!
