Finally got a build date!

Mines gone back a week to the 5th December. Mines pretty standard spec so cant imagine it being a part.

Very true. I was told the C8 RS6 wouldn't be until mid 2018 or is that false?

I personally would say 2019 at best...
RS4 is not even announced yet and by all stories it was supposed to release relatively early...which turned out BS...

I was originally planning to buy the new RS4, but a) was super disappointed with the A4 interior and b) no RS4 annoucement in sight, decided to order RS6 instead...

Today mine moved back to 14th November.

So started at 7 Nov, moved to 31 Oct, back to 7 Nov now back later to 14 Nov.....

Car tax d day a shocker but on a £100k car a rounding error.... I am more thinking it is just another month closer to C8.

My build date went from mid Jan 2017 to 05 December 2016 this morning and now suddenly changed to "Your car has joined the production line". I hope that makes it sooner but not clear as it doesn't now show a date.

Does this mean the car is spec is locked or the build date moved forward?

Mine is showing in Preparation and had a build date of 7 November. Was told by stealer to expect it beginning of December

Just collected mine today and drove the 250 miles home, absolutely love it, even taking it easy, the power is immense.

So mine today arrived in the UK.

That is against a "Build date" of 7 November. 11 days build to arrival.

I hope to collect it on Friday or Saturday but maybe that is optimistic.

I have been doing my 300 mile weekly commute in a Land Rover Defender for 6 weeks now since selling the 911 and Q7 so the RS6 cannot get here fast enough.....
