Ha, I think you were the only one who thought it was a ltd! Did the lack of buckets and ali pick not ever so slightly give it away!?!

Anyone know of any pics of limited editions in Suzuka grey? Also how many they're making for the UK market??

Mine is apparently on a train to the German coast at present!! Most expensive car purchase ever and I haven't even seen one :boohoo:

No Mate, I faced the same issues - Essentially your's will look similar to the Suzuka Grey on at stafford on piston heads with the black rotors, and then the interior will look quite unlike anything you've seen, but just how will be down to what you chose, you can find white ones in the adverts on Audi, piston heads, there's two reds on here including mine.

If it's on the train - your car is 2-4 weeks away.... the wait nearly killed me. I just love getting into this car.

and onto the numbers - there's about 30 cars coming in, equal numbers of white / red / black, and then some exclusives

Brilliant, thanks mate.

Mine has jet grey and a pan roof on top of the limited edition spec, plus keyless entry which the geek in me loves. My wife caught me watching a video on just keyless entry and I think has lost a little bit of respect for me :)

I think I've looked at every video of every B8 that I can find and similarly the wait is murder!!

I've looked at the Stafford one, it's interesting how different they look in the flesh, I don't think I've seen a picture yet that does them justice.

How are you finding yours, any issues? Concerned about the sports upgrade to the steering based on reviews of ''feel'' but I'm not Lewis Hamilton so I doubt I'll notice TOO much!!

OK - So for the avoidance of doubt, this was a massive purchase for us, put us back on a map.... one for a beer - however, I spent literally months and month researching it and decided to take a flyer on the ltd car, and then fought with myself mentally for the weeks following the order to delivery (see my posts!!)

The Ltd car is a bit halfords on the parts list, BUT - I'm delighted to say mine works beautifully for me - the great thing about the RS4 B8 is just how individual you could be, and the guys on here have built some beautiful cars, which makes it harder to chose a ltd edition because the choice is reduced to audi spec's.

The red Rims for me and the red interior for me were out there choices, and I couldn't see them in advance!!!... it was a major moment when I went to Audi City and the rs4 was unveiled, it was like xmas as a child!!! chuckle.

You've chosen some great options, the adv key is a weird one, i find myself using the key normally.... but the pano roof - OMG that's a great option, especially when you fully open it on a long non motorway journey but fully close the fly shield, fresh fresh air!!!

For me - the only thing is with my wide hips either my body or the seats themselves are having to adjust to each other.....

but when i open it, smell the leather, climb into the seats, press start, drop in D - move to S, and that v8.

I will say it again, the RS6 is Great. But for ME the RS4 is greater, far nimbler, much less weight, and the gearbox makes the powertrain work.

Steering - yep dull as hell, but I've driven Audi's for 17 years - nothing new, they've always gone quick - with the B8 you need to just point it, and trust it.... the torque vectoring bit is super clever.

I guess the main thing is JUST HOW FAR CAN YOU GO - you find yourself covering ground very fast, with no dramas and wondering - how quick could I actually be going?

FINALLY - throw your kids, wife, and a tank of fuel in it - daddy cool, going places with the family.... HOW GOOD?

Final comment.....

I think the black ones need the red rims and the red seats.....

....I think your choice Suzuka (a fav colour of mine) with the silver edged rims, and the jet grey seats - another equally cool combo - SEND US PICS!!
