Looks like Jaysrs4 in the silver S4, Phil T in the black S5 coupe on the bowl.............. and those look like my white Oakleys in the back of the RS5 Cab! Was partnered with Nige_RS4 for the S8, think I was partnered with Nige too in the RS5? The sunshine is too bright on the windscreen to make out the driver. The instructor in that one was a rally driver.

He was motoring initially, was quite funny to watch a transit van getting nailed across the car park after you
If it wasn't for seeing that, I wouldn't of known we needed to be escorted out either

Damn reflection is blocking the driver but yeah I went out with you in the RS5 cab. You can see the instructor mouthing "off the gas" as he did for most corners, which was totally unnecessary :bash: .

I found some of the 'driving pro' guys to be much more lenient than others.
For example, the guy in the RS4 was goading me into going faster and faster, whereas others were a bit more restrained.
I'm certainly no driving god, so it was nice not to have a white knuckled passenger asking to get out after the first lap :)

FWIW, I felt a little claustrophobic and nearly tasted my cake again in the back of the S5. Not a reflection on the other Nick's driving, but more to do with the crampiness of the rear seats and lack of visibility. In the other cars, it was fine and I consider myself a pretty decent passenger normally, but that one was a tough couple of laps (by this point we'd nego'd with each driver for two alpine laps instead of the boring bowl)

Yeah, I'm still not sure whether he was joking or not about the speed limit being 55 mph and being enforced by speed guns!

I've never met someone so Yorkshire in all my life. Neither have I met someone with such a comical and pathological hatred for cars that 'shift by themselves'. John, you carry a certain grumpiness that I can only aspire to, very amusing.
No matter where you go, there you are.

What? I got told to slow down too (can't remember if it was in the RS4 or TTRS for going 80 odd) :nogarors4:
