What, they've fitted your old split coolant tank by mistake or the new one fitted has split? Wierd it happens on a new part so quickly?

Let's see

I could hear a distinc hissing from the engine bay so something has let go whether that is the tank or pipes or something else

Spoken to Chingford Audi and I'm sure they will do their best for me

Get 'em to check the thermostats too... sounds like a build-up isn't getting released properly.

They do run VERY high pressure as all the rads are up the front.

ASBO lives (again)

spring loaded clip holding hose to top of header tank was broken ... only giving way once up to full operating temp

pressure tested the block and all 100%
