I have brought some 2nd hand downpipes now that I'm going to gutt and wrap them with heat shield myself. I should be able to change them myself at work so will just need the cel mapped out.
Fingers crossed money will be ok after Vegas and the wife will be in a good enough mood to allow a milltek purchase 8)

I squeek when I walk so there should be money left but the wife is, well, a bloody woman and likes to spend.
I'm banning her and her brother from the cassino's so it should be nice and boring

Guys, are the Milltek catless downpipes 3'' compared to our smaller diameter downpipes? If so, what diameter are our standard downpipes? I am 99% sure I am going to go for Milltek downpipes now, for the following reasons:

1. I can keep my standard downpipes to return to standard if I/new owner wishes, gutting would obviously not allow this.
2. These will possibly see me knocking on the door of 550 BHP?

I am getting soo carried away its unreal. This car will bankrupt me.

Yes standard, must ring Doug or see if Unit 20 will do 10% discount on a remap :jump:

I have the miltek 3" dps and decat Miltek system And remap - performance difference is like dialup vs virgin 50mb!

Only cristism is the exhaust fumes - you won't be able to open the windows or sunroof!

Is that normal for catless DPs?

The only times the fumes are an issue is stuck in Traffic or in the garage tbh.

Yep. No way around it really. It's also noticeable for those driving behind you especially if you give it some throttle. Personally I think it conflicts a bit with the nature of the car, I'll leave decatting to the scoobies and evo's.

I've never noticed the exhaust fumes and with the way the weather has been I've been drving around with the sunroof and windows open all weekend. Maybe to do with how "clean" your map is?
