True but Silver makes it more "stealthy". The number of silver beemers and mercs that realise "too late", that my Avant is an RS4 is hilarious.
VW Toe-rag V6 R-line.... no curry hooks...wtf ?

the problem for me is these colours are not exclusive, you can pretty much find Sprint Blue on any type of Audi, I was following a TDI A3 the other day in Sprint... I wish Audi wouldn't do this... then I might think differently about having something more exclusive

To expand this ever further; I think Audi's approach generally over the last few years, is a bit of a dumb-down.
In days gone by you could spot an RS4 (for example) a mile off, irrespective of colour.
Now-a-days, with so many S-line this & bodykits that.... you need to squint at the badges just to see what the hell the car is.
Exclusivity has gone. It's all just down to the driving experience.

Just about every Audi now has some kind of small badge on the front grill (who cares if you bought a S-Line deisel ??)

I don't like seeing RS4 alloys on every 2nd Audi nowadays :(
Can't they stick to their own S-Line alloys?

Black all the way.

The only other colour I would have considered was Nogaro Blue (my first B6 S4 was Nogaro Blue with blue/black alcantara/leather seats), but to have that on Audi Exclusive would have needed a second mortgage.

If you sat a normal B7 Avant next to an RS4 Avant you can tell the difference and the arches and mirrors do set it apart.

That said I have long been critical of Audi's policy of cheapening the RS brand by selling wheels etc as aftermarkwets to S-Lines. Then again, if they don't do it then a wheel manufacturer will just copy them and sell copies so I suppose Audi is claiming its own back.

Very frustrating. The last wheels I remember that were exclusive on Audi's were the Avus wheels. you don't see any R8 V10 wheel copies either.

Of course, when they're close to each other it's a no-brainer.

However, just the other day I had to do a double take to see if the blue RS4 saloon parked 2 cars away from me, was actually a 4 or not.

I may be wrong but the Avants look a tad "more obvious" from behind.

Thanks, I am looking at a black one tomorrow 8)

I know somebody who canput me in touch with an interior trimmer and is top notch, does a lot of sub-contracted work for car firms offering similar to the Audi Exclusive, so myabe having something special inside will be on the cards 8) ...just got to think of a colour that will contrast/coordinate well with Black.

Black with black optics is my vote - especially if you keep it detailed.

I have that color combo - must admit, every time I see an a4 approaching with the black pack I have to double take to see if it's another RS

sorry sprint blue owners, its just not my colour!! Now if it was the deep blue pearl colour you get on the R32, that would be nice!
