Go for it.... I'm new to this also. I looked at the forums for weeks and hunted high and low for a good one, happy now.

This machine is like nothing I have ever driven before :D

Yes it hurts the pocket, but who cares it puts a smile on my face just looking at it out the window.

They guys/girls (if there are any on this forum) really know what there talking about.

Absolutely agree. It is totally draining trying to drive the RS6 without using the turbos.
It's pointless having a 450BHP car and only using 50 of them.
Don't worry it will get used the way it is intended but just not 24/7

Wife says I can't get one but basically told her that I'll buy what I like LOL! She's the one that loved it when she had a shot of one

Everyone that asks me about fuel economy on the RS6 I just laugh at......

It's like asking is the pope a catholic?

It's a 4.2L V8 Bi-turbo pushing over 350KW does it use a bit of fuel when doing that..... doh yea!!!!

That being said @ 120KM/h cruise control on the highway I get 10.5L/100KM's which is not shabby at all imo.

Driving it everyday to work and back with traffic and spirited driving when I can yields 25+ L/100KM's lol

the C6 gives me high decimals on 17.X MPG with average to spirited driving .. off course as I have no private roads and or airfields around me its all at 70 mph ;)

Yesterday I picked up some cables at a PC supplier and the guys asked if I wanted a bag for them .. I said no .. He said "great .. its good to see some one doing something for the environment" .. I smiled all the way to the car :)

If my bmw sells then I've pretty much made my mind up I'm going to take the plunge. Even if its just for a short time I will give it a go. If I end up liking it then I may forgive the odd ££££ repair.
