there are loads and I have tried a good few.

Raceglaze 55 is my favourite at the moment. good balance between wear quality etc. but you can't go wrong with collinite 476 either IMO its cheap but very hard wearing.

Also worth looking at the DoDo range I have used a few of there's and they are nice waxes.

if you really want to ruin your life check this site out www.detailingworld.com but don't say I didn't warn you! my wife says i've never been the same man since I went on there

good luck

Jim

Now you;ve done it Jim. We'll never see him posting again on here now you've directed him to DW!

Having sprint blue myself best combo I have found after much experimenting with shine and durability is Chemical Guys Ultra Slick Mirror Finish Glaze and then Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance on top with 2 coats. You can get both for the same price as Autoglym's High Def. Wax and three times the quantity.

Use Aqua Wax on 'in between' washes to maintain beading and water sheeting

Well done fella, awesome colour too and great spec, top mileage for a 2006 car, so was it a Saloon you went for?

As for cleaning it, get your self on www.detailingworld.co.uk, for proper cleaning procedures and good deals.

The Autoglym product looks OK, bu yo will have to use a polish first, then apply the wax on after, as that product is just a high def wax! I personally use a combined polish and wax, this saves on time and is best used for a car for day to day use IMO Carnauba based waxes tend to be more high maintenance.

**EDIT** HAHA Did not realise you posted the same thread as Jim, s your a DW freak too then, indeed this site has ruined my life, thanks to this site my neighbors think im bonkers when they see me cleaning my car, all 6 hours of it lol

Another thing I failed to add, is the benefit of buying a 2006 RS4 , esp if it was registered before March 06, you will only pay £205 Road ;)

Thought it was just me who was fanatical about car cleaning!!! Gave mine a machine polish, started with 3m finesse(mild cutting compound) then top coat of autoglym super resin with a brand new finishing pad.The new generation audi paintwork is a bit orange peely and inconsistant which bugs me a bit (its defo origonal too).Im running low with autoglym and after reading some of these comments might try a change of brand

Unfortunately mine is a tad too new to qualify for the lower tax, £400 it will be :(

I gave it a clean and wax this afternoon whilst the weather was nice, here are a few pics.
