Fook me that is brilliant!!!!!!! I love examples such as this, to me it has a million times more mechanical engineering inginuity than 99% of manufactured cars that are simply a sausage machine. Years ago (before RGB's were that commonplace) I remember seeing an original mini with the back seats and boot stripped out, a chain driven fixed axle in place with a beast of a honda motorbike engine giving the mini some right beans per ton, simple and effective fun without breaking the bank.

I wish I had the time, money, garage, tools and skill to attempt a project myself... Can anyone reccomend a mechanics course in the East Midlands????

Once again, well done in getting it on the road :notworthy:

For those that were'nt at the RS246 Rolling Road day earlier in the year, a guy had spent £25k at MRC tuning his RS4 engine to 550bhp... you never know esthi, you may just be able to get 0-100 time sub-6 secs!!!
Present:...
Lotus Evora GT410 Sport, Caterham 420R, CCM Spitfire, VW T2 Bay Window 1976

Past:
DB11 AMR, 992, 991.2, Yamaha MT01, 640d Gran Coupe, 635d Coupe, RS6 C5, Audi TT 225 Coupe, Astra with wind up windows, Citroen ZX, Rover 213, yes behold, a Rover 213... Renault 5

Can anybody please make recommendations/sources for RS4 engine workshop manuals etc and independant tuners?
You can download the engine or maintenance manual directly from Audi here. They split the car into any number of sections so you will only have to pay for what you need. Approx 20 euros per section.

PS WHAT A BEAST OF CAR - I LOVE IT!!! 8)

Regarding engine tuners who know that engine - Where are you based?

Any MTM dealer would be a good start.
