Yeah, I think 4 hours + alignment sounds about right (so 250 inc. VAT at normal rates). Mine should be a P.O.P as I only recently
(4 months ago) had RS4's put on by AMD (only cost me 340 (I supplied all the parts) [yes, I am being sarcastic]). It took me less
than 2 hours to do the rears myself. If the top clamp bolt comes out easy enoough then the fronts are fine. If I buy these I
will probably DIY the install then pay someone to do the setup. Just spent 350 on brakes parts though and actually think the
roll bar setup would be better for me than the coilovers at the moment. Decisions, decisions....

That is another option. I reckon I could mither someone here until they install the coilovers, then get them properly set somewhere else.

I have now "firmed up" on this having spoken with the other main proponent of this thread (Dazzer).
We have decided to go with a trusted source rather than sending what could amount to a sizeable sum to Germany and then wait to see what turns up.

The deal will be "close to" £670 per set incl VAT - exact figure to be determined on numbers.
To achieve this level of discount, credit cards will not be acceptable. We will have to pool the monies and then make a credit transfer.

Reliable, sensibly priced fitting remains the issue, but some of those who have expressed an interest have stated that they will fit themselves. Having researched this further, I don't think this will be an issue and if some of us are reasonably closely placed, we should be able to arrange some sort of "group fit".

Please sign up below if you are definitely interested - we do now need to know exact numbers.
Jon - yours will come with a free Mars bar!

count me in if the price is close to £670 per set inc VAT.

I guess if these fit a B5 S4 then they will fit an RS4?

Thanks

Geoff,

These are for the B5 S4 - the RS4 suspension is "uprated" but as far as I know the chassis is otherwise the same, but I'll check before we count you in.

Cheers,
Clive

Let me know how long I have to decide. I don't want to hold anyone up, but I could do with a couple of days to see if I can get the funds together.

Neil,

I know everyone's keen, but I don't think a few days will make any difference.
