Ermmm well as good as the B5 RS was it was far from perfect.. just look at how many have modified their cars.......

It was a very good first effort by Quattro GmbH which wasnt really beaten by the RS6.

We`ll just have to wait and see.

It would be difficult to name any type car/bike/whatever that hasn't been modified.

Ermmm very true, should have been more clear..... but lets take the M3 for example.... ok it may be a bling but its pretty much sorted when it leaves the factory?

Or am i missing the point?

Riz - Your missing the point - when talking about getting it right I was talking about the LOOKS of the car!

PS the M3 gets modded quite a bit too - look at the CSL - supposedly pants brakes...and if it had a turbo, how many of them would be chipped? Lots and lots of them I bet..

Yep, even M3 CSL's have to get a brake upgrade.

In any case, people mod their cars to be different. I can't think of any other reason to have a personal plate. So why not chips, brakes, suspension etc.

The RS4 is everything one could ever want from a road car. Speed, handling, space, grip, looks etc/ etc. But if you want more than a road car, then mods are necessary.

Anyone cares to comment Conti's link?
That looks more like the real thing, although I'm not sure I like it.

Conti: you're first up again. Thanks!

These have been discussed on a few forums for the last week. It's another test mule but the wraps do seem to be coming off more and more.

That's very interesting now. Most of the links to the pictures we discussed earlier are down. :sekret: :sekret:

Anyway, here are a few pictures. Looks like a hoax to me: Audi could hardly find a more in-your-face colour for a highly confidential project, the drivers don't seem bothered by the photograph, and the whole nose seems... fake.

I'd bet on a home-made RS4 or a bad joke by Audi.
