The money I got charged was for 1 1/4hrs labour as they hooked up boost and lambda guages etc. You're right, the outcome was not what I wanted but they just said that the car didn't perform well etc. You know what it's like at the time, your mind is elsewhere thinking about what may be wrong with the car etc so you pay the bill and leave. It's only when you've had chance to think about it that you wish you'd said something - put it down to experience.
I'll go somewhere with more experience of S3's next time.
