I've probably still got that (shaky) on-board vid from the boxhill meet when I was getting overexcited about your exhaust. I can upload if you like?

No video will do it justice, but any buyer should know what a special addition to the car it is! After the meet, I even got some quotes for getting my car on a flatbed and sent up to JCWF before I managed to restrain myself!

Oh, and about time you boys moved over to the better shape. Audi RS's are meant to be avants. The B7 mini-cab and hairdresser editions were just anomalies. :bigblink:

Ha, nice one Faisal; Lucky for us that human evolution wasn't down to Avant owners otherwise the human race would still be knuckle dragging Neanderthals. The 1st RS might have been an Avant but that doesn't mean to say we should stop evolution and stick with the 1st one, being first doesn't mean the best. Bloated avants are inferior to dynamic lightweight saloons. But my garage is now nice and clear and I can fit 2 cars in it again. :biggrin3:

Well, the thing about evolution is that it's about survival of the fittest. A species has different mutations, of which the best ones survive and continue...

The B7 was born with 3 mutations.

Remind me which one survived to the B8?

Case closed. :biggrin3:

Indeed - no video EVER does the system justice. You should have got that flat bed arranged :)

Faisal - you mean these videos:

:bigblink:

Mmmmm I'm fond of the Taxi shape, but I am certainly swayed by a bread van 6 :)

The B8 avant only survived due to the amount of bread Germans ate - it's simple supply and demand :)

Sorry for going slightly off topic Neil, but it keep it at the top as you say.

Faisal, the only reason the saloon B8 and and C7 never survived is because someone at Audi HQ thinks the same as you. If it was given a chance it would have smashed the avants just like B7 did.

And Neil, the only reason you fancy a C7 breadvan is because they don't make it in a saloon and the RS7 is fugly. If they made the C7 as a saloon it'd be a no brainer.

Those are the vids! You've got me checking through my emails for those quotes and doing some man-maths now! MuSn't Do iT :bash:

Apologies for going off-topic on your ad too Neil - however the ad does deserve bumping to the top...

You're probably right Mike! In all honesty, if my particular car hadn't come up for sale when it did, I'd probably ended up in a minicab, er I mean saloon, too. Both have their pros and cons.

Chaps, chat away and keep this to the top - more than happy;)

You're right Mike - the RS7 is a FUGLY and isn't for me. Agreed - the C7 in a loon would be my choice if it existed...

Now £23,850 in view of the fact I may, just may have found a 6...

It's a small reduction, but I think it's the top end example-wise as mentioned by previous posts...

Now £23,000

Considering the level of spec and condition, it has to be a steal at this price...

No Sam, Pistonheads and Autotrader. The later two are at £23,500.

This is a forum sale figure - really like to see it go to a member or alike...
