Yup - as per my post on Sat morning, it's a non-starter for me.

I've only heard the B&O so far. But my wife is very critical (grew up listening to her dads Linn set up) and she thought the B&O sounded very good, but I was playing one of the better recorded flacs that I have so maybe not a good guide.

It wasn't to be this time. I reckon you'll be in one before Boff though.

The issue with a really good system is that it just tends to sound natural so you notice it less until you feed it with good material. Everyone has their priorities but if I was not from Aberdeen I would have probably hit the button and added the B&O, just to tight in the end. If I planned to keep the car over three years then it would have probably happened.

My issue was that I played the same track in my RS4 afterwards and it sounded better. And my RS4 speakers would fit nicely into the doors of the RS6 and cost me 6.3k less than the B&O, but i would need to find space for the amplifiers and run cabling etc (although I ran my RS4 stereo on mainly OEM wiring.

I refuse to believe 6.5k on B&O is justifiable.

I have it in my B8 and sure its great, but then its 10x less

Surely this is for footballers only :)

Nice compliment. I reckon the B&O option is mental, and that is exactly why I ordered it.

There's no way Kev will be in one before mine.... he keeps getting to the money shot and then pulling out ;-)
