I know that all rs6 has that but I don't see button that it's turns off that option there is only start stop button in this video Gustav explains
http://youtu.be/qxtESCeCiLc
Also check picture it's only start stop oval button so how you disable it?
You didn't know that, which is why you asked about the button at the top, and I answered your question, then you go and confuse yourself by talking about the bottom button.
You asked at the start of the thread if you can turn it off. You were told yes you can turn it off by pressing the button om the dash but you have to do it eveytime you get in the car. I added you can permanently disable it or invert it with VCDS. You then started talking about menus then asking about buttons then when you got the answer again you started talking about the engine start button. Its no wonder people are having a laugh, we are halfway down page 2 when you were given the answer in the very 1st reply.

Audifan,
1) There is a button to disable Start/Stop. The function re-engages on each ignition cycle. You can change this behaviour if you choose to program the car through the OBD port.
2) The reason you are being "trolled" is that the questions you are asking are not those that someone trying to decide whether to buy an RS6 would consider to be evenly remotely relevant to the purchasing decision. The Start-Stop behaviour isn't even of interest to many RS6 owners, never mind those who are considering buying an RS6. People on this forum started out by answering all your questions considerately but now there is an overwhelming sense that you are just asking questions for the sake of it.
If you are actually a schoolboy who just wants to know all about the car because - well - that's what schoolboys do (at least I was like that) then fine, but if you are an adult who is seriously thinking of buying an RS6 - or even if you aren't actually considering buying one - then may I suggest you speak to a dealer, who might be more tolerant of your desire for irrelevant information.

Wildbore you put that in a very polite manner. I hope you had a nice glass of red after that to calm your nerves cause I couldn't have been as patient to write as you have without putting at least 1 "FFS" comment in there. Well done fella!!

I hate the stop/start thing - fekking annoying on every car that has had it. Pleased to hear it can be corrected via the dealer.
OP - what do you drive at the moment - im curious?

I love the stop start function - it helps my mpg a lot when I drive my RS6 - I love seeing how high I can get my MPG up to and how long I can make the tyres last - remember if you coast the car you get more mpg. -
Now That would be a piss take.

I wouldn't trust a dealer to do it. Find a friendly forum member with a cable.

I thought that might actually be an inappropriate question!!
Correction required.
Op. What bicycle do you ride? I'm just curious.
