When's the 1st service due?

400 miles in and you are probably right Ross lol, the PSS's are excellent.

I've put 10k on them on my rs4 now and can't wait to get shot. It's odd because they're not "very good" at anything - they're just an "ok" tyre at everything (except cold weather but they were always going to be a bit pants there). The PSS's are better everywhere - rain etc and of course proper warm summer temps.

Back on topic though I'm now at 10k miles old and no signs of a service request yet - although it's had 2 litres of oil in that time so perhaps it's servicing itself :p

Blimey, I'm 20k in and just had 2nd service + plus gearbox and front diff oil change and 4 new Michelin Pilot Super Sport's.

Struggling to find anywhere in South London that will let me supply my own oil.

Wimbledon Audi, Coulsden Audi and Walton Audi, all flatly refused without negotiation. In fact it felt as if they were expecting the question!

When I asked about price matching they said it would have to be a local dealer within 15miles, they would price match the whole service and it had to be on headed paper.

Sorted - Epsom Audi were more than accommodating! Price matched Opie Oils over the phone (he did quick check of their pricing online whilst I was on the phone) meaning I don't have to bother faffing about ordering/supplying myself.

A quick shout out for Epsom Audi. Superb and friendly service all round from all members of staff there.

Had the car serviced this morning, then when I came to pay the £306 bill was reduced even further due to a new oil pricing offer that came into play this week. They could have stuck to the original cost, but said they would honour the new price, even though I didn't know about it! So in total it took another £50 off the bill!

Total for the first service came to £259.94, which is a big drop from where I was first being quoted at other dealers.

The drive home was fun. I may be imagining it but it feels more eager to pick up at the low revs and the exhaust seems louder.

I've been very happy with Epsom Audi too. Mine came from them back in early 2013 and they've been helpful and accommodating since. Also tried Eastbourne Audi recently for front discs and pads and they were good too.

28000+ miles for one set of pads on an RS4 may be some kind of record!

Epsom Audi are fabulous, as are Jack Barclays in Wandsworth. Out side of those two I'd go nowhere else in SW london.
