Yeah, whilst Audi has the more prestige image and perhaps better interior, I think objectively the Golf looks better, more aggressive looking....
It's the headlights, they look mean :smile_smoking:

Yeeep. Was that £287PCM a biz deal? The cheapest I've found was about £323ish (biz - no options). This is without hauling my arse into a stealership.

I know, hence my 'shame' comment. It'd be a compelling all-weather, steer-from-the-rear platform... except that it's a Beemer, very ugly and over priced... other than that, compelling, kinda.

BMW 1 series seem to be very popular with estate agents, photo copier salesmen and other generally avoided professional people. As good as the 135i is, I don't think it'll ever shake that image
Golfs on the other hand, seem to be very popular with horsey type girls, and we all know how dirty they can be :)
